The Well Head paintings are of
​community wells in North West Africa.
People take turns working
at the well head drawing water while
others place their colourful bowls
in a queue and seek shade.
The shelters are just outside the frame
of these bird's-eye perspective paintings.
​At this moment all the workers are out of view.
 Collaboration, conserving water, solidarity and community are all key to survival in these arid environments.
